I have been meaning to post a ton! BUT...I have been so sick and tired this pregnancy! Just when I am starting to feel a bit better, a bit more "normal" our computer crashes! I don't know what to do about it right now, too tired to think about it.

Lulu and Bubba found this poor little guy on our sidewalk in front of the house. It was struggling to flip over because it was on its back. After scooping it up (very carefully) I came inside and looked up on the Internet what I should do with it. We searched outside for a nest but could not find one. I called a wildlife rehabilitation place near our home and they had an opening. So, we put Fluffy in a toilet paper filled shoebox and off we went. The woman weighed him (1/3rd of an ounce!) and placed him in an incubator. She said he was a House Sparrow. She was guardedly optimistic about his survival.....we hope he made it!
He was actually moving around and opening his mouth.
On the car ride over to the rehabilitation place he squeaked for his Mama.
Although it was MUCH harder to breathe! hahah. It zipped up!!!
